New Work
I'm excited to be finally sending out the last of my holiday cards this week. Big thanks to talent from Lily's, styling by Taylor Wilson, hair and makeup by Ann Marie Weinert and assisting from Nathanael Filbert for this fun shoot we did over the summer.
We have been busy over here prepping a fantastic and fun calendar for 2012 using some of my favorite burlesque dancers as models in this project. See the behind the scenes video (edited by the super talented Traci Weingardt)

We just finished a series of new case study portraits for SWC technology - one of which brought us to the Chicago Botanical Gardens to enjoy the last of the beautiful weather. You can see the series, which we have been working on them over the past several years, on their website: swc.com
I have been working on an extended burlesque project lately and as a way to say thank you to Vaudezilla - who have been instrumental in helping bring the project to life - I photographed their group over the weekend. We did a living photo like we have done the past two years for them, but I also tried this time lapse which turned out really fun too. They are really great to collaborate with - you can see the video we did last year on their website at vaudezilla.com
We also shot a handful of stills on the set using the natural light at my studio.
One of my favorite burlesque performers asked me to shoot a concept to be included in her upcoming TEDx performance piece about what animals do when they are alone. Perhaps this wild cat is a vegetarian? Check out the full schedule at tedxmidwest.com

[gallery columns="4"] Over Labor Day weekend, I was lucky enough to finally pull together a test with an idea I have been ruminating on for probably over a year. And the weather even cooperated! We have some behind the scenes footage from Robert and will work on getting those together soon. Big thanks to the cast and to Leslie Pace for styling, Ashley Vest for hair and makeup, Ashton Hansen and Andrew Lawrence for assisting and Lorena Petani for location scouting.
